Had a blast pulling together this dark gothic portrait piece. Built in some fine-line texture details—cracked skin, realistic bat features, and that shadowy castle frame base to anchor the whole composition.

The start of a leg sleeve to come!

Cheap tattoos aren’t always cheap in the end.
This wolf was originally done upside down, so we reworked the entire piece and rebuilt the flow to fit the arm properly. Big difference in movement, direction, and overall impact. Watch to see the transformation ➡️🔥

New addition for Mel

Adele came through from out of town and trusted me to add another piece to her growing sleeve of “pretty creepy crawlers.”
We kept it elegant, a little eerie, and flowing with what she already has going.
Always an honour when someone lets you build onto their collection.

Dan the Man.
Three days. Back-to-back. No hesitation.
Dan came through Kelowna while his wife was in town for a conference and decided it was finally time to commit to a full lower leg piece. What started as an idea turned into three consecutive evenings in the chair — 2.5 hours, 4 hours, and a final 5–6 hour push to bring it all together.
Geometric flow built to move with the leg, layered patterns, and solid blackwork to anchor it all in. This one was all about endurance, trust, and staying locked in.
Respect to Dan for showing up three days straight and getting it done.
AI info - I used AI to edit out the background in order to save myself hours. The tattoos have not been edited themselves.

Bryn came in with a sketch and an idea — her first tattoo, and a big one.
We built this piece together from her drawing and a past design of mine, shaping it into something that would move with the body and hold up over time.
Black & grey lilies across the chest, flowing from shoulder to shoulder and down the sternum.
Always appreciate when someone trusts me with something this personal right out of the gate.
Made to fit. Made to last.

Chad snapped a photo of this great grey owl early in the morning on his way to work —
and we turned it into this.
Love working from real moments like that instead of stock references.
Makes the piece feel a lot more alive.

Bold lines, ornamental flow, and book cased peonoes to tie it all together.
Had the chance to tattoo Jane’s hand as well — always appreciate the trust on pieces like that.
Clean, timeless, and built to age well.
Would love to do more work like this.

Ty got this eagle to represent his brother.
His favorite animal — something strong, watchful, and always present.
I had actually tattooed an eagle on his brother before he passed… so this one carried some weight.
These are the tattoos that stay with you.
Not just for the client — but for me too.

Realistic rose with a hidden “9” worked into the petals to represent his jersey number.
Subtle details like that are what make a piece personal without shouting it.
Always down to build more designs like this.

Not every tattoo is about the art.
Some are about the moment you never want to forget.
My daughter drew this… and we watched E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial together after 💞

Alexis came in wanting to honour her dog, Roody.
The bond between people and their animals is something deeper than words.
Set in the Okanagan landscape, because that’s where a lot of those memories live.
These aren’t just tattoos… they’re pieces of someone’s life and memories that do not fair.
🐾
If you’ve got a story like this you’ve been meaning to carry with you, I’d love to help bring it to life.

Bioorganic inspired
Flash piece for Kat
Loved how the flow ties into the existing hand piece — this sleeve is starting to come together in a really nice way.
Thanks for the trust, Kat 🙏

Built around an existing centerpiece ✨
Gin came in with the dagger already in place, and we designed this full ornamental composition to flow naturally around it. Everything was shaped to complement the original piece while giving it a stronger presence and symmetry across the back.
Two sessions later, this is the result — bold structure, soft shading, and a balance of movement and flow.
I’d love to do more large-scale ornamental work like this.
Thanks for the trust, Gin 🙏

From inchworm to raven.
From wrist filler to full story.
Kristine trusted me to turn an old tattoo into something that actually feels like her.

Another session in the books with @Annekacamille — we’ve been building together for over a decade now.
This lower leg started as individual pieces collected over time, each one holding its own story. Now we’re finally tying everything together and giving it the cohesion it deserves.
Fox above, raccoon below, movement through the snake and skull — all brought together with soft illustrative shading and flow to make the leg read as one complete composition.
There’s something special about clients who trust you year after year. Watching a collection evolve into a unified piece is one of my favorite parts of this craft.
More to come as we keep connecting it all.

Kyleigh chose this English-inspired dragon from one of my original flash designs to represent her roots.
Dragons have always carried that symbolism of strength, protection, and lineage — and this one wraps naturally with the shoulder to keep the movement alive from every angle.
I love when flash finds the right person. It hits different when the design already has intention behind it and then someone connects to it for their own reasons.
Bold scales, heavy contrast, and flow that fits the body the way it should.
Thanks for the trust, Kyleigh 🐉

Another session with Konnor — slowly building this sleeve piece by piece.
A hunter at heart, so we leaned into symbolism that speaks to that connection with the land. A weathered skull, florals pushing through, and a Vegvísir carved in as a reminder to stay the course. Life, death, direction — all part of the same cycle.
This one’s about respect for the wild and the understanding that nothing is wasted.
We’re taking our time with this sleeve and letting it evolve naturally. Always grateful for the trust to build something meaningful over multiple sessions.
More to come.

Pulled this one straight from my original flash sheet. A small armored guardian finding its place over time. This piece (and a few others) lives on a consistent client I’m genuinely grateful for—someone who trusts the process, collects slowly, and happens to be an artist themselves. That kind of exchange always feels right.
A handful of characters from this series are still available. Same world, same hand, waiting patiently. Thanks always to those who come back and let the work grow.

The legendary battle continues. 🔥🐉
Wrapped up this full Dragon Ball forearm sleeve for Robbie, featuring the icons: Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, and Cell. Every character brings a different energy to the piece, and I loved capturing that classic manga contrast throughout the whole wrap.
Which saga was your favorite? Frieza, Cell, or the Saiyan saga? Let me know in the comments! 👇
